New 15,000-Liter Water Truck to Strengthen Water Supply in the South

ETA deploys a mobile distribution unit to provide safe drinking water to dozens of displaced communities in Khan Younis and the Middle Area

Project Description:

As part of its ongoing efforts to support affected areas, Abdul Salam Yaseen – ETA has rehabilitated and deployed a new water distribution truck with a capacity of 15,000 liters. The truck began operating in November, and has since been carrying out no fewer than 5 trips per day, covering dozens of distribution points and residential clusters in the displacement areas of Khan Younis and the Middle Governorate.

With each trip serving approximately 375 families, the truck now reaches around 1,875 families daily, based on an average household consumption of 40 liters of water per day for drinking, cooking, and food preparation.

This mobile unit marks a significant step toward improving reliable water access amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis and underscores ETA’s commitment to delivering effective, sustainable, and field-based water solutions for the most vulnerable communities.
